Sale of Easternwell Group to Transfield Services Limited for $575m:

Following the acquisition of Easternwell Group by Transfield Services Limited on 22 December 2010, I wanted to touch base to thank you and the team for the accounting and tax assistance you have provided to us over the past 2 years.

Since the formation of our group in June 2008, the outsourced accounting and tax compliance assistance we have received from AMCO has made a significant contribution to the development and maintenance of our income tax and indirect tax control and compliance systems. At all times we were informed well in advance of our compliance requirements and the ‘can do’ and proactive attitude of the AMCO team was invaluable as the group experienced significant acquisitive and organic growth. Throughout the sale process, we were subject to the usual due diligence scrutiny of these tax systems and process and received positive comments on the high level of compliance and accuracy.
